Team Performances:
MI New York are a game away from turning it all around, they have constantly come close only to be denied right at the end. Their game against San Francisco was one they should have won.
Their batters have performed well, with de Kock and Monank Patel aggregating over 200 runs already, while Bracewell and Pollard have more than 120 each.

Their problem stems with their bowling, where only Naveen-ul-Haq averages less than 30 this season, Trent Boult has been off-color for his four wickets at 45.75 so far.
The Seattle Orcas on the other hand have deeper problems. Their team as a whole has failed to click, with some stars like Sikandar Raza, Heinrich Klaasen and David Warner all failing to fire.
Their only positives are their local players, Shayan Jahangir who has 109 runs in three games and Harmeet Singh, with seven wickets in five games.
Form Guide:

- Seattle Orcas: LLLLL
Players to watch out for:
- Shayan Jahangir – having taken up the keeping gloves from Klaasen, Jahangir is already making a massive mark, averaging 36.3 and unlike his previous season, he is striking at 153 this season.
- Harmeet Singh – the left arm orthodox bowler has been in good form this season, he remains economical and takes wickets quickly, striking once every 13.7 balls.
- Monank Patel – Patel is having the most memorable season an American batter has had at the MLC, with 267 runs in five games, leading the run charts for New York, and doing it at a fair clip, going at 166.

- Quinton de Kock – after a tough time in the IPL, de Kock has finally found his groove, having struck three fifties in five innings, it is a welcome return to form, for the South African gloveman.
